The Wood Core panels are constructed with a heavy-duty composite wood core and galvanised formed steel. These panels have an outstanding stiffness, durability, and acoustic performance and have a class "A" flame spread rating.
This is a lightweight system that is mostly employed in areas where the self load requirement is less stringent. The wood core tile provides excellent walking comfort and dampens footstep noise. The panels are constructed of high density chipboard with a 0.5mm G. I. or aluminium sheet finish on the bottom and an antistatic laminate or PVC finish on the top. Four sides are covered in black PVC stripes that carry electricity. In the case of bare panels, the top and bottom are covered with 0.5mm G.I. / aluminium sheet. Panels are supported by a rigid grid structure (steel pedestal & stringer). The unfinished panel can be covered with antistatic carpet or PVC tiles.
CtrlTech wood core panels are made of high density chip board and provide a stable and reliable flooring system. The bottom of the 600x600mm particle board is either attached to galvanised steel or covered in aluminium foil, while the top is either aluminium foil or an antistatic coating such as vinyl or HPL. The panel's edge is protected by a conductive PVC covering, which protects the panel from moisture and damage. Due to its light weight and ease of installation, it is recommended for big installations.
