Adsorption dehumidifiers are based on the utilisation of naturally drying materials (ie those endowed with a strong physical-chemical affinity for water vapour), such as silica gel. This operation technology enables them to be used in conditions where humidity values are required even at low temperatures and stable values dew point are required at extremely low temperatures (up to -60°C). This technique can be used to dehumidify any type of environment in any situation.
CtrlTech developed the AD (Air Dry) line to address the demand for dehumidification at extremely low temperatures (below 0°C) and extremely low relative humidity values. The dehumidifiers in this class are especially well-suited for continuous operation in both stationary and mobile applications. To mitigate the ensuing energy consumption, CtrlTech presents integrative solutions such as Heat Recovery Systems capable of recovering up to 60% of the heat generated by the machine and reintroducing it into the cycle of operation, resulting in significant energy savings.
